Talking Tomorrow's Taunton Deane, which we designed with Baker Associates on behalf of Taunton Deane Borough Council, has been awarded a commendation in the 2006 RTPI South West Planning Achievement Awards. The judges said that the project was "A worthy initiative, attempting to bring the whole of the community into the process of policy making. A good model for maximising inclusiveness with planners centrally involved."

10Radio has been successful in its application to Ofcom for a 5 year community radio licence to broadcast on FM. We led the bid writing process.
Morwellham Quay, a heritage visitor centre in Devon, has secured a £600,000 investment from the local councils to help secure its long term future. As part of the business planning that underpines the investment we undertook the analysis of the governance structures and wrote the financial chapters.

We were successful in applications submitted on behalf of Wiveliscombe Town Hall Trust to the Architectural Heritage Fund and Somerset Workspace for funding for an options analysis into future use of the town hall.

Working with members of the local community we prepared an application to OFCOM for a five year community radio licence for 10Radio. We also prepared the applicataion to register 10Radio as a Community Interest Company.

The Heritage Lottery has approved £2.3m of funding for the Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project. We wrote the business plan and carried out a feasibility study into long term management structures.

The Tamar Valley and other sites in Cornwall have been inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The application we wrote to Objective 2 on behalf of the Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project for £1m has been approved by GOSW. Phase 1 is now completely funded and can go on site.
SWRDA have given approval to the Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project's £250k application to Rural Renaissance.
We've started working with Morwellham to review the way they work and help ensure that they are ready to become a key centre in the World Heritage Site.

We've started working on a feasibility study to establish a new Centre 4 Youth in Bristol. Commissioned by Young Bristol, it follows on from an initial examination carried out in 2003. Watch the film of what young people thought of the centres elsewhere.

We're working with Lyme Forward to help them prepare a strategy for Lyme Regis. A series of facilitated workshops to help the residents get their heads around needs analysis, SWOTs, option development and the other jargon that goes with this work.
The Market and Coastal Towns Association have approved us to be on their panel of retained consultants.

Objective 1 have approved the £600,000 application that we prepared for Mount Edgcumbe in Cornwall. It will help fund a £1.5m project to provide new visitor facilities.

Taunton Deane District Council have launched their consultation into the new Local Development Framework and Community Strategy. Working with Baker Associates, we wrote the consultation strategy for them and will be facilitating sessions with young people, in targeted communities and with developers.

The application to Objective 1 that we wrote for Cornwall County Council to carry out the feasibility study for a cross-county bridleway has been approved.
