2md is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing regeneration, communication and design services to a range of voluntary, community, public and private sector clients in the South West of England.
2md was established by Julian Mellor and Helen Miller in 1999 to provide web design services primarily for environmental organisations. New opportunities meant that new services could be added over the following years making better use of available skills.

Julian Mellor is an economic regeneration consultant and web designer. He started his career in 1986 as a Chartered Surveyor with Kent County Council and then moved to Bristol City Council where he spent six years working in the property department followed by time in local plans, economic development and finally as job-share manager of a team initiating major development and investment programmes in South Bristol. values
We believe:
- That we must always make a difference to the place and people with whom we work.
- That communities must be involved in decision making on matters that will affect their futures.
- That good decision making comes from listening to and understanding all points of view.
- That strong leadership comes from personal commitment and a shared vision.
- That injustice and exclusion undermines the long term viability of communities and society.
- That we should live as we preach by personally taking part in voluntary and community work and constantly working to reduce our environmental impact.
